Salt water causes hair to swell and the natural moisture to evaporate, especially in summer: when swimming in the sea. Salt crystals settle on the hair like little burning glasses and lighten it. The hair becomes brittle, colors lose their brilliance and the hair is harder to comb. This is exactly where SUN products come in: with their active ingredient cocktail of panthenol and agave, they protect the hair from moisture loss due to the effects of sun, salt and chlorine, ensuring carefree sunbathing and smooth hair during the vacation season.

The SUN Scalp Protect Spray is also a must-have for every beach bag. Specially developed for the scalp, the spray has UVA and UVB filters and sun protection factor 15. Thanks to its light, non-greasy formulation, the spray is ideal for use on the hairline and crown and on exposed areas of the scalp.
Essential Ingredients
Panthenol
Panthenol is a B vitamin precursor (provitamin B5) and proven to be involved in regenerative metabolic processes of the skin. It has no cosmetic effect itself and only becomes an active ingredient, as soon as it is converted in the skin to the cosmetically effective pantothenic acid. The stimulated cell renewal helps the skin to regenerate faster. Panthenol is not only used in skin care, but also in hair care. It increases the moisture absorption of hair and scalp and also has a stimulating effect. In addition, panthenol gives the hair more volume and suppleness.
Agave
The blue agave is found growing wild exclusively in some parts of Mexico. For cosmetics, the fructans contained in the agave are particularly interesting as an active ingredient. They work in the scalp exactly where the hair draws its strength. This allows the microcirculation of the scalp and the hair root to be doubly supplied with nutrients. The amino sugars contained in agave form complex bonds with their own proteins to give the hair strength, suppleness and resilience.
